Night Fighting with NVGs
Night Fighting with NVGs
We are proud to be able to bring this level of training to the Cross Timbers Region at Texas Ordnance Depot. This is going to be a great opportunity to work on your ability to engage targets at night using a carbine with weapon mounted lasers and NVGS at our Night Fighting with NVGs class. Jim Smith, a retired Delta Force Operator and world renowned instructor, will lead students through a fast paced and knowledge packed period of instruction. Beginning on the flat range and quickly moving into engagement of multiple targets at unknown distances while on the move. Strap up and meet us on the range for what is sure to be a fun and valuable learning experience.
This class will be 4-5 hours and will begin at 1800 (6pm) on March 16th. We will cover night zeroing of lasers, ballistics, target discrimination, shooting on the move, reloads & stoppages, multiples positions, use of cover, and pair & team movement.
Students should bring the following:
- Carbine, preferably 300blk/5.56 or smaller. (We will be shooting steel and .308 is hard on the targets and dangerous for shooters.)
