The park comes alive on Friday evening for The City of Hico’s official kickoff to Christmas. This FREE community event is packed with classic holiday fun:

FREE Pictures With Santa — Peppermint Park, 3–5 PM: Kids can meet Santa and take a free Christmas photo in the most festive little corner of town.

Downtown Christmas Light Parade — 6 PM: As the sun sets, Hico’s streets fill with glowing floats, music, and holiday cheer. The Christmas Light Parade is a can’t-miss highlight of the entire weekend.
